Daniel Huynh is Of Counsel and an Enrolled Agent at our law firm. Mr. Huynh assists our attorneys with client matters before the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board, Employment Development Department, and the State Board of Equalization. Mr. Huynh has experience in IRS and FTB audits, levies and lien removals, Installment Agreements, Abatements, Appeals, and Offers-in-Compromise.
Prior to joining our firm, Daniel Huynh worked as a Revenue Agent with the Internal Revenue Service for two years. After separating from the Service, he worked in the private sector as a tax law specialist helping clients resolve tax matters before various taxing agencies including the IRS, FTB, EDD and BOE.
Mr. Huynh grew up in the Bay Area and attended the California State University, East Bay, where he completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and then went on to obtain his Master of Science degree in Accounting. Continuing his educational journey, Mr. Huynh then earned his Juris Doctor at Santa Clara University and received his Master of Law in Taxation (LL.M.) at Boston University’s School of Law.
At Cal State East Bay, Mr. Huynh volunteered at the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, helping hundreds of low-income taxpayers file their taxes. During law school, he volunteered at the Immigration law clinic, where he had opportunity to help clients obtain asylum and T Visas to provide immigration relief for those trafficked into the United States. Mr. Huynh also volunteered at the Entrepreneur Clinic, where he helped start-up companies file Articles of Corporation, draft executive compensation agreements, bylaws, and Restrictive Stock Unit (RSU) plans under his professor’s supervision.
