Sarah Becker is a law clerk currently pursuing her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from California Western School of Law. Ms. Becker assists our attorneys with client matters before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Franchise Tax Board (FTB), Employment Development Department (EDD), and California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDFTA). Ms. Becker’s interests are tax law, property law, international law, and estate planning.
Ms. Becker graduated from Boston University with a degree in Cultural Anthropology and Spanish, and then completed her Master of Arts in Global Studies from Brandeis University. Ms. Becker has clerked in local San Diego law firms and nonprofit organizations and completed an externship at the Federal District Court of Southern California. Prior to her legal career, Ms. Becker spent seven years living abroad in Bogotá, Colombia, where she managed the country’s largest English language training program through the National Ministry of Education and Ministry of Labor.
Originally hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, Ms. Becker loves spending time outdoors with her husband, friends, and two dogs. Ms. Becker is a foodie and loves trying new local restaurants and breweries, as well as testing out new recipes in the kitchen.
