Daniela Petrus is a Staff Accountant at our firm, assisting our attorneys with client matters before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Franchise Tax Board (FTB), Employment Development Department (EDD), and California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDFTA).
Daniela began her legal career in 2022 after earning her Certified Paralegal certificate from San Diego State University Global Campus and her Tax Preparer certificate from Pronto Tax School. She has since developed hands-on experience in bankruptcy law, assisting attorneys with petition preparation, court filings, document organization, and client communications. Daniela has also gained valuable exposure to Family Law, Unlawful Detainer Law, and Trust Law while supporting attorneys in various legal practices.
In March 2025, Daniela graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Arizona State University. She is continuing her academic journey as an incoming Juris Doctorate candidate at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she will expand her knowledge in public law and policy while continuing to work in the legal field.
Prior to joining the legal profession, Daniela developed strong client service skills working in customer-facing roles and has experience in vehicle title processing and DMV regulations. She brings a diverse background, excellent attention to detail, and a client-first approach to our firm.
Outside of her legal career, Daniela enjoys hiking, cooking, and listening to true crime and law podcasts. She is fluent in English and Chaldean, with receptive proficiency in Arabic.
