Devon J. Arabo is Of Counsel at our firm. Devon Arabo represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Franchise Tax Board (FTB), Employment Development Department (EDD), and California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA).
Devon J. Arabo also represents clients with tax-related issues before various state and federal taxing authorities and recently saved a client over $1 million in a complex IRS audit wherein the underlying liability in question sparked an audit exceeding $1.7 million. Mr. Arabo was able to settle the liability for just $450,000.
Mr. Arabo’s unwavering dedication to his practice and client care has earned him a stellar reputation in the community. Having honed his skills from his years providing administrative assistance to Shamoun Investments Co., Mr. Arabo facilitated multimillion-dollar transactions, including property acquisitions and sales in that capacity.
Mr. Arabo is a proud “Triple Torero,” having graduated from the University of San Diego with three degrees. Mr. Arabo earned his Bachelor of Accountancy with a minor in both Finance and Real Estate. As part of his undergraduate experience, Mr. Arabo was a resolute member of USD’s Accounting Society.
Mr. Arabo continued to earn Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of San Diego School of Law. During law school, Mr. Arabo was a member of the Tax Law Society and Middle Eastern Law Student Association. In his second year of law school, Mr. Arabo served as the American Bar Association (ABA) Chair where he assisted students with registering with the ABA, which is the largest professional organization for practicing attorneys. After graduating law school, Mr. Arabo continued his educational journey by obtaining his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M) from the University of San Diego School of Law.
Mr. Arabo was most recently named one of San Diego’s Top Attorneys in 2023 and one of SD Metro’s 40 Under 40.
