San Diego Community Giving
RJS LAW is devoted to advocating for members of our community through charitable giving, philanthropy, and volunteer work. RJS LAW was established in San Diego and its CEO, Ronson J. Shamoun, is a San Diego native. He is a three-time graduate from the University of San Diego (go Toreros!) and is a proud alum and supporter of USD through financial giving, campus representation, and his position as an adjunct professor. Mr. Shamoun has won many awards for his expertise in tax law including the creation of the USD School of Law – RJS LAW Tax Controversy Institute which has received national exposure.
RJS LAW believes diversity in our community is our strength. This is reflected in our diverse staff, clients, and philanthropic events. We are proud to support initiatives all over California that assist individuals of different walks of life, backgrounds, and career paths.
The RJS LAW team is committed to philanthropic work and bettering our community. We believe we are all stronger when we are working together. We care deeply for all businesses and organizations in San Diego, and California at large. Please see below for some of the charitable efforts we have taken part in and please contact us to share any new ways we can give back.

Recent Billboard Donations
RJS LAW is always taking steps to support charitable organizations in San Diego especially during tough times. Each month we evaluate many charities; this month RJS LAW elected to support the following: Academy of Our Lady of Peace, Knauss School of Business University of San Diego, The Salvation Army, C4 Foundation, Susan G. Koman, Cristo Rey San Diego High School, San Diego Rescue Mission, CEO – Center for Employment Opportunities, Noah Homes, Curebound, Walden Family Services, and Girl Scouts of San Diego. Each one has had a tremendous impact in our community.
To bring additional awareness to their fantastic work, RJS LAW has donated billboard space around town to support their missions.
Our mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. When you’re a Girl Scout, you call the shots
Every Girl Scout has their own curiosity, dreams, and talents—so when they come together to decide which of the thousands of Girl Scout activities to try, the sky’s the limit. Whether visiting an animal shelter, camping, hosting a dance-off, or filming a movie—they’re learning to take risks, trust their gut, and team up with others for good.
The secret sauce holding it all together? Joy.
The Academy of Our Lady of Peace (OLP) is a rigorous college preparatory school with an unparalleled leadership program and a variety of co-curricular activities. For 141 years, we have been educating young women in the spirit of excellence and innovation that characterizes our founding Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.
Academy of Our Lady of Peace Mission:
Founded and rooted in the Gospel values of the Catholic church and the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, the Academy of Our Lady of Peace empowers young women in an innovative learning environment that honors the individual while fostering community, and develops faith-filled leaders dedicated to the love of God and the dear neighbor without distinction.
The Knauss School of Business develops the global competitiveness of our students, faculty and local businesses. When we’re not bringing international visitors, researchers, local businesses and students to campus, we’re sending our students abroad for study and professional opportunities.
Mission: The Knauss School of Business is committed to developing socially responsible leaders with a global mindset through academically rigorous, relevant and values-based education and research.
We believe in a better way to business.
