Rebecca Shuman is a Law Clerk from California Western School of Law. Ms. Shuman supports our attorneys with client matters before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Franchise Tax Board (FTB), Employment Development Department (EDD), and California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDFTA).

Ms. Shuman graduated cum laude from San Diego State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business with an emphasis in marketing. Ms. Shuman participated in advocacy-based extracurriculars, including representing her sorority as Vice President of Standards, and participating in Dance Marathon as Director of Merchandise, where SDSU received the 2020 merchandise award from The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

After graduating, Ms. Shuman was inspired to attend Law School while working as a legal assistant for a personal injury firm. Ms. Shuman is currently a second-year law student and has been a multi-semester Dean’s Honor List Student and received the Academic Excellence Award in her Professional Responsibility class.

Rebecca is a baseball enthusiast and spends most of the Padres season at the stadium or watching the games. She loves to review books, especially early advanced copies from the publisher. Ms. Shuman practices yoga daily – both power flow vinyasa and sculpt. Currently, Rebecca is learning the art of baking sourdough and has begun taking classes to re-learn ballet at Balboa Park.
