Ava Namazi is a Law Clerk from the University of San Diego School of Law. Ms. Namazi works within the RJS LAW International Tax practice area helping companies understand and navigate intricate tax reporting requirements and assisting clients to create efficient corporate structures.

Ms. Namazi is originally from Iran and grew up in Dubai. Ava has a native fluency in English and Farsi as well as a fluency in French and Spanish which allows her to service a wide spectrum of international clients while fostering meaningful interpersonal connections.

Ava Namazi graduated from Boston University in May 2023 with a major in Political Science and a minor in Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights. During her undergraduate years, Ava worked at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the James Foley Foundation, the Boston Court Center, and the BU Law Dean’s office. She also served as the Vice President of BU’s Pre-Law Society. These experiences, along with others, influenced her decision to pursue law as a profession.

While attending USD, Ms. Namazi serves on the Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Student Advisory Committee where she works as a liaison between students, faculty, and the wider San Diego community to strengthen diversity initiatives at USD. Additionally, Ms. Namazi serves as the Vice President of the Middle Eastern Law Student Association and as the Vice President of Events for the Pro-Bono Legal Advocates.
