Andrea Cisneros Valdez has joined RJS LAW San Diego as an Of Counsel attorney. Ms. Cisneros Valdez brings her experience and knowledge to the firm’s Estate/Tax Planning, and Controversy Practice Groups.

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – RJS LAW is pleased to announce Andrea Cisneros Valdez has joined the San Diego office as an Of Counsel Attorney. Ms. Cisneros Valdez’s practice focuses on international tax law and planning, as well as estate planning, entity formation, and the attendant Operating and Shareholder Agreements. She is highly qualified to design specialized corporate structures for cross-border investments and has vast experience with international tax planning and compliance.

Andrea advises clients on a variety of U.S. international tax issues including the application of U.S. anti-deferral regimes such as GILTI provisions, Subpart F income and PFICs.  Andrea counsels on the application of foreign tax credit planning, tax treaty planning, FIRPTA withholdings, and Branch Profits Tax planning. She also works diligently with multiple nationality families in the areas of compliance and pre-immigration tax and estate planning.

Andrea is licensed to practice law in California and in Mexico.  She obtained her Master of Law in Taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law.  She also has a specialization in Mexican tax law from Universidad de las Americas Puebla.

Cisneros Valdez se enfoca en derecho fiscal internacional y en planeación fiscal y patrimonial, formación de entidades, así como la redacción de estatutos. Es altamente calificada para diseñar estructuras corporativas para inversiones cross-border y tiene amplia experiencia en el campo de fiscal internacional y de compliance.
